At The Highgate Dental Practice we have developed a pathway for our patients that starts with making sure any existing dental problems are delt with and any aesthetic concerns you may have about the look of your teeth are addressed.

Once your teeth and gums are healthy and stable and you are happy with your smile, our exceptional Hygiene Clinic ideally takes over. Our dedicated hygienists will help you to achieve and maintain long term oral and dental health.

You will notice that gradually you will reach a stage where you will not need to see the Dentist every six months. Our clinic is centred on our Hygienists who will look after you and teach how to look after your teeth.

Pain Control and Emergency Care

We aim to provide immediate emergency care attempting not to leave urgent emergencies untreated.

Diagnosis and treatment of Dental Disease

We have a team of experienced clinical staff and work with the latest equipment to help us diagnose and treat dental and oral disease. We use the best materials and techniques available to ensure your treatment will last.

Dental Function

Through diagnosis and careful treatment planning we intend to restore function by replacing missing teeth with dentures, bridges or implants. In addition we correct dental malocclusions in our Orthodontic Clinic.

Aesthetic and Cosmetic Treatment

Once we have established overall oral health you will be referred to our Hygiene clinic for maintenance or if you wish to improve your smile we can advise you on a cosmetic dental treatment of your choice and suitability. We strongly believe on minimal intervention approach.

Maintenance

Avoid future problems
Once all planned treatment is completed you will be transferred across to our superb Hygienist Clinic where you will learn to look after your healthy smile which will help towards preventing future problems. You will receive a thorough assessment of your periodontal status and a customised treatment plan to treat you and most importantly to educate you to improve your daily hygiene routine.
Reduce the need to see the dentist
Our aim is for you to reduce the need for seeing the dentist and to enable you to look after your teeth like never before, some of our “healthy” patients see the dentist no more than once every 12-18months.
